Delta-Geon-02 Digital Seismic Signal Recorder

DELTA-GEON-02 digital seismic signal recorder is designed for automatic registration of seismic signals from natural and artificial sources of seismic vibration in the course of various seismic research. The recorder might be used as a stationary seismic station with the possibility of data transfer to PC hard drive.

Operation Modes

  • Continuous Recording;
  • Recording upon detection of a seismic events;
  • Recording at preset time periods (as set per calendar).

When recording upon detection of seismic events, the digital signal processor detects and registers with high probability only useful seismic responses.

Controls

The recorder is controlled (parameter settings, analysis of the current status, selection of operation mode, etc.) by a laptop or Control and Synchronization Unit via standard RS-232 or Ethernet interface.

Synchronization

Seismic data is synchronized in real time. Highly stable thermostabilized generator generates the base frequency of the real time watch. Control and Synchronization Unit with built-in GPS receiver sets the real time watch.

Local Networks

The recorder is compatible with telephone and radio modems. This option allows for establishing local telemetric networks. Phone lines, cell phone lines, satellite communication or radio channels can be used. These options allow for quick data transfer to processing centers.

Delta-Geon-02M

LogiS Company launched the new modification of DELTA-GEON-02 seismic recorders - DELTA-GEON- 02M. The modernized recorder now features built-in GPS receiver and Ethernet interface capable of achieving data transfer rate up to 10 Mbps.

Software

Software supplied with the unit is compatible with Windows 9x/ME/2000/XP. User-friendly interface allows for quick learning of the unit controls. Graphic applications enable instant analysis of the acquired data. The software allows to use PC as a central data collection unit of the local seismic network.
